How to Tighten the Cylinder Head Bolts on the 1991 Hyundai Sonata Engine. The 1991 Hyundai Sonata mid-size sedan engine is a 4-cylinder in-line OHV, OHC that displaces 2,351 cc. To tighten the 1991 Hyundai Sonata engine cylinder head bolts, follow these procedures:
